We are primarily based out of the Black Hall Marine in Old Lyme (Rt. 156), from here we will fish the Ct. river system, the beaches that run along the Old Lyme shore - inner and outer Hatchetts Reef - East Lyme/Niantic, Black Point - Waterford, Harkness State Park. We will also travel across the sound and fish the waters around Plum Island, Gardners Island and Eastern Long Island N.Y. - (Montuak). Unlike most guides, we trailer our boat to different locations for the best fishing opportunities. In June, I like to travel a little further east and fish Fishers Island Sound, the south side of Fishers Island and the many reefs around Stonington and Watch Hill R.I. Some of the bigger fly caught fish,” I have experience” where in this area. On most days, fishing pressure is light in these area’s and we would have great fishing opportunities all to ourselves. To fish this area I like to launch from Pine Island Marina.
